SUBÜ Academic Thought Education and Civilization Society implemented their project named “Bridge of Civilizations” supported by ÜNİDES. Within the scope of the project, international students from 17 different countries had the opportunity to introduce their cultures.

The Academic Thought, Education, and Civilization Society (ADEM) at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) has implemented the “Bridge of Civilizations” project, supported under the Ministry of Youth and Sports' University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program (ÜNİDES). The project, which brought together international students from 17 different countries, provided students with the opportunity to showcase their cultures through traditional dance performances and musical performances. The events, held at the Sakarya Vocational School campus, were attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Türkay, Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Ergen, Head of the Health, Culture, and Sports Department Dr. Orhan Yılmaz, Director of the Career Planning and Human Resources Application and Research Center Dr. Seda Gökdemir Ekici, academics, and students. Speaking about the project, which aims to bring different cultures together, the academic president of the community, Lecturer Celal Alpdoğan, said, "With our Civilizations Bridge project, we brought together students from different departments on a common cultural ground. This has also created lasting friendships and a spirit of solidarity among our students. Our goal is for this bridge to extend beyond the event day and into the future."
